Dog Training: Dog whispering

Dog Whispering is a very popular techniques of dog training. In fact, in some respects, dog whispering and dog clicker training have taken the world by storm. But despite the popularity of these particular methods as relatively new technology is that the methods have existed for hundreds of years.

Instead of a special training method that uses specific techniques, dog whispering is based on understanding the psychology of the dog, the dog's body language and behavior. It takes a dog's natural behavior into account, and virtually ignores the traditional theories of learning. As a result, this is actually more of a general "philosophy" of dog training than anything else. Once you understand his natural instinct, how your dog "thinks" and his body language, you can "talk" with your dog through body language and actions - the language which he understands instinctively.

This technique also emphasizes the power of positive reinforcement. This is a combination or a mixture of positive images and behaviors you want to make the dog whispering techniques very effective.

The importance of establishing yourself as a leader - someone who is reliable, secure and capable,is the fundamental basis of this method. All dogs are pack animals by nature, so to establish your position as pack leader of your dog (the "Alpha Dog" dominant) is critical when using this technique. Becoming the Alpha Dog is generally a way for your dog to feel safe in different situations, so he understands that you are his pack leader and will protect him against a potential hazard. Of course, you will also need to establish your dominance, which means that your instructions can not be ignored.

A good pack leader (or Alpha Dog) managest firmly but calmly, so the murmurs to the dog contains a combination of love, positive reinforcement and solid, non-violent corrections. If done correctly, this can give you a dog that is obedient and happy to be that way.

Like any other training technique that are required of the dog whisper is that you must be patient, be calm and maintain your appearance and self-control. You must also remember that your dog will need lots of repetition and a lot of positive reinforcement before it learns the behavior you are trying to teach. Yelling, spanking, or losing your temper has no place in dog whispering (or any other form of dog training, for that matter). Indeed. Rather than speaking or talking loudly to your dog, you need lot of communication, while using dog whispering techniques through body language and casual nonverbal hand signals.

The main way dogs try to communicate with people (and other dogs) consists of specific movements and body language. Therefore, this technique requires that you have at least a basic knowledge of canine psychology and dog behavior. Without this understanding, it might be easy to misinterpret or completely miss what our dogs are trying to say. When this happens, the dogs tend to use more extreme methods of communication, such as excessive barking when they feel anxious or threatened.

Unless you meet a new dog, eye contact is one of the best ways to communicate with dogs. Eye contact will help each of you to interpret the facial expressions of others. Enter physical or verbal cues of your pet when you are maintaining eye contact, however. Without these other signs, the dog can not be interpreted to be staring directly into the threatening behavior, or polemic on your part. This is particularly likely when the dog is not known.

Despite the importance of understanding dog behavior and psychology, we must remain "human" when using the techniques of dog whispering. In other words, no dog, whispering not require you to crawl on all fours, play your bow or WAG "tail" to convey your message to your pet. Dogs are intelligent, sensitive animals and they realize that you are not a dog. They are also smart enough to learn the language of the human body. So there is no reason to try to "be a dog" when using the techniques of dog whispering.

Instead, offer your dog with respect and dignity. Do not try to be a control freak, but do not treat your dog like a child, either. Give your dog as much love as you want, but you must also give advice in a firm, calm, controlled and respectful manner. Any physical - such as changing the position of your dog by raising one foot to teach him to "shake hands", for example - should always be conducted in a manner that is gentle, non-violent and non-threatening .

Technical whispering dog can be used successfully to teach your dog all the common obedience commands like "sit", "Stay," "should" and "down".

This training method can also be used to prevent undesirable behaviors such as excessive barking. Many people use devices such as bark control collars to stop their pets barking is inappropriate. Other calls or even beat their dogs. No method is very effective. Bark does not address the cause of barking and shouting is only the bark worse because the owner thinks PET barks at him. With these methods, but if the dog stops barking is usually due to fear rather than a sense of respect and obedience.

Techniques to stop barking dog whispering include research on the subject of your first pet barks. If it detects any threat in the direction of the barking dog, turn and take a relaxed and quiet. His body language tells you that your dog does not see danger - and no reason to bark.

Dog Whispering will probably not work for all dog owners. It requires that you be very confident and dominant dog physically and psychologically. Owners who do not have confidence or not assertive is not likely to be successful with the techniques of dog whispering.
